Couples Therapy  

Couples Therapy can improve satisfaction in your relationship, mend conflict and improve communication patterns by improving conflict resolution strategies and identify unhealthy interpersonal patterns. 

Anxiety 

Anxiety can include some or all of the following: restlessness, panic attacks, insomnia, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, nausea, tingling or dizziness. Exploring how fear and worry can be addressed to reduce symptoms of anxiety can be helpful.

A full service psychological practice providing mental health services to address a variety of problem areas: occupational, marital discord, immigration, academic or interpersonal difficulties. Using evidence-based therapuetic interventions in both therapy and evaluations. In addition to psychotherapy, we also provide speciality services such as:   
  • Couples Therapy Using the Gottman Method to work with couples who are experiencing high levels of distress, disconnection and perpetual conflict move into health communication patterns. 
  • Psychodiagnostic Evaluations a comprehensive assessment to determine intellectual, cognitive, emotional and personality functioning.  
  • Psychoeducational Assessment involves a comprehensive assessment of an individual's cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning using standardized measures. 
  • Personal Injury/Psychological Sessions evidence-based therapy sessions to address symptoms related to anxiety, depression, grief, post-traumatic, adjustment, and interpersonal difficulties. 
  • Immigration Evaluations related to DACA, Victims of Crime,  Asylum, VAWA, U & T visas, extreme hardship, naturalization waivers or N-648.
  • Neurobehavioral Status Exams mental status evaluations to determine disability impairment.
  • Emotional Support Animal  letters can be provided by a  licensed psychologist following a clinical evaluation in a client-provider relationship for at least 30 days prior to providing documentation for an emotional support dog. 
  • Mindfulness Consultations provide one-on-one guided meditations, exercises to integrate into your daily life, space to discuss process, meditations to practice on your own. 

The founder is a licensed psychologist in the state of California and Telehealth Registered Provider in Florida. She is Trained in Mindfulness Facilitation (TMF) from the Mindfulness Awareness Research Center (MARC) at UCLA, and completed a three-year postdoctoral training in neurodevelopment, psychodiagnostic and Autism evaluations from Semel Institute of Neuroscience & Human Behavior at UCLA. Her pre-doctoral training included Trauma-Informed practices, psychodiagnostic assessments and evidence-based individual psychotherapy from the University of Wisconsin. Trained in treating families, couples, children and adult individuals at UCLA, UNLV, Universal Wisconsin, Kaiser Permanente Hospital, The HELP Group, Rosemary Children's Services and currently in private practice.
